    Upon completion:

    • Be able to identify the different PSM practices in industry within North America and Europe
    • Have a higher knowledge of how corresponding process safety tools can enhance your current management system
    • Have increased understanding of how process safety fits into your current management system
    • Understand the roles and responsibilities when dealing with process safety.

You do not require a degree or diploma to enrol. To apply, you must meet the following requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Grade 12 diploma (recommended)
  • Relevant work experience (recommended)
  • If English is not your first language, you must meet the English language proficiency requirements

  • RRMS reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class at any time.
  • In-Person Classes are subject to minimum attendance requirements.
  • You may check the class status at any time by viewing the specific class page.
  • If you have registered for an instructor-led training class, you should receive an email notifying you of the class status at least 14 days prior to the scheduled start date of the class. If you have not received an email by this date, please contact to confirm the status of the class.
  • In the event of cancellation by RRMS other than for circumstances outside of its control, you may reschedule for another class of equal value delivered by RRMS or select a full refund of any fees paid for the class.
  • In the event RRMS must cancel a class due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., weather, natural disaster),
  • RRMS will issue a credit for the amounts paid to be used for a future class delivered by RRMS within 1 year of the original class date.
    RRMS is not, in any way, responsible for any other costs incurred by Participants in relation to the class (e.g., travel expenses, lost business time). It is recommended that Participants who are booking travel for a class do not do so until the class status is “confirmed”.
  • Your registration will be reimbursed minus a $250 CAD administration fee, provided your cancellation is prior to 72 hours of the training date.
  • You may reschedule or request a credit for a future class of equal value delivered by RRMS. All credits must be used within 1 year of the original class date and a maximum of 2 reschedule/credit requests is permitted per enrollment.
  • If you are unable to attend a training, a substitute participant may attend in your place at no extra charge
  • To be eligible for a Student or Young Professional Discount, you must be a full-time student or have been working in industry for less than 3 years. Proof of enrolment, photocopied full-time student card or proofs of employment are accepted forms of identification
  • This training does not qualify students to apply for an international study permit.
